What is Plutus Luxury Vienna?
Plutus Luxury Vienna is a premium boutique house specialising in seasonal decoration, bespoke botanical installations, corporate and personal gifting, and rental services for hotels and corporate clients. We are the authorised Van der Gucht partner for Austria, which means we offer the complete Van der Gucht range of premium artificial Christmas trees, garlands and wreaths, sourced directly from the manufacturer.
Is everything in your collection artificial?
Yes. Every product in our collection is premium artificial, from our Van der Gucht Christmas trees to our silk flowers, real touch botanicals and outdoor plants. We do not carry fresh flowers, dried botanicals or any perishable products. This is intentional: artificial products of the quality we select last for years, look extraordinary and require virtually no maintenance. A premium artificial magnolia branch looks more beautiful than most fresh flowers and lasts indefinitely.
Do you have a showroom?
Our showroom is opening from August 2026 at Bürgasse 21, Vienna. Visits are by appointment only, please contact us at info@plutusluxury.com to arrange a time. We are happy to show the full Van der Gucht tree range, our seasonal collections and our gifting products in person.
Do you work with private individuals as well as companies?
Absolutely. While a significant part of what we do is B2B, hotels, corporate clients, institutions, we also work with private individuals who appreciate premium quality and are looking for something exceptional. Whether you are furnishing your home for the season, hosting a private event or looking for a truly special gift, we are happy to help. What languages do you work in?
We work in English and German. The website is available in both languages. All client communication can be conducted in either language, whichever you prefer.
How realistic are the Van der Gucht trees?
Exceptionally. Van der Gucht uses Feel Real® PE branch tip technology, a proprietary process that produces branch tips indistinguishable from a real tree. The texture, the colour variation, the way the branches hold their shape and move, all of it is genuinely remarkable. The Kentucky Deluxe, Helsinki, Vermont and Bayberry Slim are among the most realistic artificial trees available anywhere in the world. We would encourage anyone who has not seen a Feel Real® PE tree in person to arrange a showroom visit.
How long do the trees last?
Van der Gucht trees are built to last for ten years or more with normal care. They come with a manufacturer warranty and are designed for repeated assembly and disassembly each season. Many of our hotel and corporate clients have had their trees for several years with no deterioration in appearance. The investment per season is significantly lower than buying a quality real tree annually.
Do you sell individual ornaments, lights and accessories?
Yes. Our Products page carries ornaments and ribbon sets, tree toppers, LED light chains, figurines, nutcrackers, tabletop trees, tree skirts, garlands and wreaths. The range is curated to coordinate with the Van der Gucht tree collection. New items are added regularly, contact us if you are looking for something specific that you cannot find on the site.
Can I see the trees before buying?
Yes, please arrange a showroom visit. We are opening from August 2026 at Bürgasse 21, Vienna. Visits are by appointment. Contact us at info@plutusluxury.com and we will arrange a time that works for you. For large orders, hotels or corporate clients purchasing multiple trees, we strongly recommend a showroom visit before committing.
Are your silk and real touch flowers really that realistic?
The real touch magnolia and cherry blossom in our spring and summer collection genuinely is. Real touch technology uses a silicone or similar material that replicates the texture, weight and translucency of a real petal. Placed at normal viewing distance, as you would arrange them in your home or office, they are not distinguishable from fresh flowers. Silk flowers are slightly less realistic but still very high quality at the level we select. Again, we recommend seeing them in the showroom if you want to assess before buying.
Do you deliver to my address?
We deliver throughout Vienna and across Austria. International delivery is available for certain products, contact us before ordering if you require delivery outside Austria. Large items such as full-height Van der Gucht trees are delivered by our team or by specialist freight, not by standard courier.
How long does delivery take?
Standard delivery within Vienna and Austria is typically 3–7 business days for in-stock products. Large or heavy items, such as full-size Christmas trees, may take a few days longer due to specialist handling requirements. We will always confirm the expected delivery window when you place your order. At peak Christmas season, lead times may be extended, order early to avoid disappointment.
Do you offer professional installation?
Yes. For hotel and corporate clients, we offer professional delivery and installation, our team assembles and styles everything in your space. For private clients purchasing large trees, we can also arrange delivery and setup by appointment. Installation services are priced separately from the products, contact us to discuss what is needed.
Can I collect from you directly?
For smaller items, collection from our Vienna showroom is possible by arrangement. For large trees, delivery is strongly recommended as they require careful handling. Contact us to arrange if you prefer to collect.
What is your returns policy?
As a consumer you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within fourteen days of receiving the goods. To do this, contact us at info@plutusluxury.com before the fourteen days end. The goods must be returned complete, unused, and in their original packaging, including all bases, fittings, and protective materials. You are entitled to inspect a piece as you would in a showroom, but if it is used beyond inspection, for example assembled, decorated, or shaped, the refund may be reduced to reflect the loss in value. The cost of returning the goods to us is yours, unless the goods were faulty. Full details are in our Returns and Refunds Policy.
How long do refunds take?
Once we receive the returned goods and confirm their condition, we refund the amount due within fourteen days, using the same payment method you used to order. Any reduction for diminished value, where a piece has been used beyond inspection, is applied to the refund.
Can I collect my order instead of having it delivered?
Yes. At checkout you can choose to collect your order from our Vienna shop, or to have it shipped. If you choose shipping, the delivery cost is shown at checkout before you confirm. For large pieces such as trees, we recommend delivery, as they need careful handling, but collection is always available if you prefer.
What if a product arrives damaged?
Please contact us at info@plutusluxury.com promptly after delivery, with photographs of the damage where possible. We will arrange a repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with your statutory rights. We pack everything with great care, so damage is rare, and where it happens we resolve it quickly.
Are preorders refundable?
A preorder is a reservation, paid in full at the time of order to secure your piece. If a piece you have reserved cannot be supplied, we refund it in full. Once a preorder has been delivered, your fourteen day right of withdrawal applies in the normal way, and paying in advance does not shorten or extend it.
Can custom or bespoke pieces be returned?
No. Items made to your specification or personalised for you, including custom logo ornaments and commissioned pieces, cannot be returned, as provided by law. Bespoke installations and commissioned projects are governed by their own written agreement.
Can you transform an existing structure into a seasonal installation?
This is exactly what we specialise in. We have transformed an existing Van der Gucht Christmas tree into a full spring composition using silk cherry blossom and real touch magnolia, and converted a decorative pot of bare branches into a magnolia cherry blossom tree, both for the same Vienna corporate client. We prefer to work with what is already in a space wherever possible: it is more sustainable, more cost-effective and often produces a more dramatic result than starting from scratch. Who designs the bespoke installations?
All bespoke installations are designed by Sofia Synanidi, Creative Director of Plutus Luxury. When you commission a bespoke piece, you are working directly with her. She visits the space, understands the vision and designs something specific to that room, that light and that client.
How long does a bespoke installation take?
Most installations, even significant ones, are completed in a single day. We work around your schedule to minimise disruption. The consultation and design process happens in advance: when we arrive to install, everything is planned and the execution is swift. For very large installations across multiple spaces, we may require two days.
Do you do seasonal refreshes?
Yes. For ongoing clients, we return at the start of each new season to refresh or replace arrangements, keeping your space in step with the year. This is part of how many of our corporate and hotel clients work with us: one relationship, all four seasons, consistent quality throughout.
What is the minimum order for luxury gifting?
The minimum order is 20 units per gifting engagement. This applies to all standard and bespoke gift sets. For custom branded items, such as company-branded ribbons or packaging, the minimum may be higher depending on the specific requirement. For custom logo ornaments, the minimum is significantly higher and requires a dedicated conversation.
Can private individuals order gifts, not just companies?
Absolutely. Our gifting service is called “Corporate & Personal Gifting” for exactly this reason. Private individuals hosting weddings, baptisms, private parties or any exclusive occasion are very welcome. The same quality and the same minimum order quantities apply. If you are a private individual wanting something for a special occasion, the conversation starts the same way, contact us and tell us about what you have in mind.
What are your core gifting products?
Our priority gifting items are: luxury candles, reed diffusers, our signature velvet gift boxes (with velvet bow and faux diamond detail), and our elegant foldable tables. Secondary items include ornaments, tabletop trees, nutcrackers and custom packaging. All are presented in our velvet gift boxes. We do not produce pre-made sets, the box is selected first and the contents are chosen around the occasion.
How far in advance should I place a gifting order?
For standard orders, allow at least 2–3 weeks from confirmation to delivery. For bespoke or custom branded orders, allow 4–6 weeks. For custom logo ornaments, which require design, sampling and production, allow a minimum of 6 months, and ideally 9–12 months. For Christmas gifting, the conversation should start well before summer. We are a boutique house with limited capacity, the earlier you contact us, the better.
What is the minimum for a rental engagement?
A minimum of 5 trees per rental engagement. This is firm. The logistics of professional delivery, installation, year-round climate-controlled storage and seasonal collection make single-piece rentals unworkable. If you need fewer than 5 trees, we recommend purchasing on retail terms instead, we are happy to discuss this.
Is the rental service available to private individuals?
No. The Eirova rental programme is available to registered businesses only, hotels, corporate clients, venues and institutions. Private individuals wishing to use our trees purchase them through the retail shop. If you are a private individual who genuinely needs 5 or more trees for an ongoing purpose, contact us and we will discuss what makes sense.
Does the rental price include installation and collection?
Yes. The rental programme is full-service only, our team handles all delivery, installation, styling and collection. There is no collect-yourself option. All of this is included in the rental agreement. Pricing is always by individual project quotation, we do not publish standard rates.
Can we rent for a single season or does it have to be annual?
We work on a minimum seasonal agreement basis. Single-season rental is possible. Annual programme agreements (covering all four seasons) are available and are the most cost-effective option for ongoing clients. One-off or ad hoc rental without a formal agreement is not available.
Are you an authorised Van der Gucht dealer?
Yes. Plutus Luxury Vienna is the authorised Van der Gucht partner for Austria. All trees are sourced directly from Van der Gucht in Belgium, ensuring full authenticity, correct pricing and the complete manufacturer warranty. Purchasing through an authorised partner is the only way to ensure you receive a genuine Van der Gucht product with full warranty support.
What is Feel Real® PE technology?
Feel Real® PE is Van der Gucht’s proprietary branch tip technology. The PE (polyethylene) branch tips are moulded and finished to replicate real pine and fir needles in extraordinary detail — the texture, the colour variation, the way they hold and move. Trees using Feel Real® PE technology are widely regarded as the most realistic artificial Christmas trees available. It is what separates a Van der Gucht tree from everything else on the market.
Do the pre-lit trees come with a warranty on the lights?
Yes. Pre-lit Van der Gucht trees come with the full manufacturer warranty covering both the tree structure and the integrated LED lighting. The warranty period varies by model, contact us for specifics on the tree you are interested in. Van der Gucht LED lighting is integrated into the branch structure, not simply wrapped around it, which means it is far more robust than aftermarket lighting.
What is the largest tree you carry?
The Kentucky Deluxe is available up to 427 cm (approximately 14 feet). For hotel lobbies and large commercial spaces, we also have access to trees up to 5 metres through our Van der Gucht partnership, contact us to discuss very large format requirements. These are not standard stock items and require advance ordering.
Can I order a tree that is not shown on the website?
Very possibly. We show a representative selection of the Van der Gucht range on the website, but the full catalogue is significantly broader. If you have seen a specific tree model, perhaps in a Van der Gucht catalogue or at another retailer, contact us and we will check availability and pricing for you. As the authorised Austrian partner, we have access to the complete range.
